FAMAS
Historical Overview
A French bullpup assault rifle designed in 1978 by MAS and known among French troops as Le Clairon — "The Bugle" — for its distinctive silhouette. Chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO and capable of firing up to 1,100 rounds per minute, it served as the standard-issue rifle of the French Army for decades. In CS2, it's the budget CT rifle: cheap, capable of burst fire for tighter accuracy, and just powerful enough to hold its own in eco rounds when the M4 isn't an option.
