Desert Eagle
Historical Overview
An Israeli-designed semi-automatic pistol built by Magnum Research, the Desert Eagle was introduced in 1982 and chambered for the massive .50 AE round — one of the most powerful cartridges ever fitted in a handgun. Its gas-operated mechanism, more common in rifles, was necessary to handle that kind of recoil. In CS2, it earns its legendary status: one headshot kills through armor, making it the ultimate high-risk, high-reward sidearm.
