Historical Overview

The CZ75-Auto in Counter-Strike is based on the real-world CZ 75 Auto (also known as the CZ 75 B Auto), a fully automatic variant of the iconic CZ 75 pistol, manufactured by the Czech arms company Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod (CZUB).

The CZ 75 was originally designed in 1975 by František Koucký as a high-capacity, double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol. It quickly gained worldwide recognition for its exceptional ergonomics, accuracy, and reliability. The fully automatic variant — the CZ 75 Auto — was developed later as a machine pistol variant for military and law enforcement use.
