AK-47
Historical Overview
Designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in 1947 and adopted by the Soviet Army in 1949, the AK-47 became the most produced rifle in history — simple, robust, and reliable in any condition. Chambered in 7.62×39mm, it was built to work in mud, sand, and extreme cold without jamming. In CS2, it's the T-side's backbone: one headshot kills through a helmet, and nothing else in the game delivers that kind of raw stopping power at its price.
