Rust Coat Skins
The Rust Coat series is the ultimate "anti-aesthetic" tribute to neglect, industrial decay, and the raw passage of time. Defined by a heavy, textured layer of dark orange oxidation, bubbling corrosion, and mottled brown iron, these skins transform a weapon into a discarded tool pulled from the bottom of a toxic swamp or a forgotten shipyard. It is an aesthetic built for the "Survivalist"—the operative who doesn't care about factory-new finishes or flashy colors, but values the fact that a weapon still fires despite being half-consumed by the elements. The visual DNA is pure entropy, suggesting a firearm that is more iron oxide than steel.
The visual strength of the Rust Coat finish lies in its unique relationship with wear. Unlike almost any other skin in the game, the Rust Coat is a "Negative Value" aesthetic: it is more desirable when it is Battle-Scarred. In higher float values, the dull grey metal disappears completely, replaced by a thick, "crusty" orange rust that catches the light with an organic, jagged texture. It is a favorite for specialists who prefer "Scavenger," "Industrial," or "Post-Apocalyptic" loadouts, signaling a rugged, veteran presence on the battlefield.
