Crimson Web Skins

The Crimson Web series is one of the most iconic and oldest skin families in Counter-Strike, introduced on August 14, 2013, with the very first Arms Deal update. While the finish exists on a few guns — most notably the SCAR-20, Desert Eagle, CZ75-Auto, and R8 Revolver — the series is legendary purely because of its knives. Every single knife type in the game, from the original Karambit and M9 Bayonet to the newer Skeleton and Nomad knives, can drop with this finish.

Crimson Web skins are highly prized for their pattern variance. As a pattern-based finish (with 1,000 possible seeds), each skin pulls a different section of a massive spiderweb template. Collectors pay massive premiums for "Tier 1" patterns that feature large, perfectly centered "web centers" (the nexus of the spiderweb) on the play side of the blade. Finding a knife with two, three, or even four distinct web centers in Factory New condition is incredibly rare, turning these specific skins into some of the most expensive and prestigious collector's items in the game.
