Inspired by a real metalworking process — heating steel with carbon until its surface blooms into swirls of blue, gold, and purple — Case Hardened skins are unlike any other series. Every single skin is unique: the pattern shifts randomly across the weapon, meaning no two are identical. That randomness is exactly what makes them legendary. The rarest outcomes — almost entirely blue surfaces, known as Blue Gems — are among the most valuable skins ever to exist in CS2, with some selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
